Adding Details, and Tagging
Once you have a way completed, you need to add tags in order to see them rendered on the map. There are many tags, some far more common than others. When using JOSM, tagging is accomplished by adding Key and Value pairs to the Properties/Memberships panel.

- Once you have made your edits, you then need to upload your changes to OSM.
