Leeds is a major city in West Yorkshire, UK. It is located on the River Aire, is one terminus of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and is the urban core of the City of Leeds metropolitan borough. After London and Birmingham it's the UK's third largest city with a population of 726,939. stats link
