National Cycle Network mapping event

To improve coverage of the National Cycle Network on OpenStreetMap, we could consider an informal cycle mapping weekend.

We would gather at a central location from where several NCN routes radiate, with good public transport, and then cycle out on the various NCN routes from there.

Some possible central locations:

• Leicester: routes to Market Harborough, Oakham, Loughborough, Burton-on-Trent, Daventry etc.
• somewhere on the Transpennine Trail
• (add more suggestions here)
