OSM Protocol Changes V0.3 to V0.4

  • Use '0.4' in the XML and URLs
  • Use 'create' instead of '0' to create objects, eg /api/0.4/node/create
  • API speaks mime type 'application/xml'
  • Get map command will return besides the nodes and segments of the ways within the given bounding box all their nodes and segments lie outside the given bounding box.
