OSM ran a workshop on the Isle of Wight on 5th-7th May 2006, where we attempted to map the entire Isle of Wight.

Thre was a similar event Mapchester, on the 13th and 14th of May, more events will follow, in the meantime, map your local area!

The Maps

The gathered data will allow us to produce some rendered maps of the Isle of Wight shortly. In the meantime we can see lots of new data in JOSM :
