How do I tag an island inside a lake inside a park?
leisure = park natural = water, layer = 1 ( for the lake) leisure = park, layer= 2 for the islands.

Do you tag house numbers in streets? How?
House numbers are needed for routing, but there is currently no standard for entering them. It is a lot of work and difficult to do right. And the data has to be maintained. So currently it is probably best to ignore house numbers for the moment, there are many other things to do which probably give more immediate benefit.
