Why not start at the far end of the routes (without meeting first), then all cycle to the central point and meet? Rjmunro 12:49, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, could be a good idea! --Richard 15:15, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Several smaller ncn mapping parties

Why not have several small ncn mapping parties?

Say, at least one for each region or sub-region? http://www.sustrans.org.uk/webfiles/Info%20sheets/RegionalRoutes2.pdf

I'd also like to see the access points and surrounding roads added to the map too. This will allow you to see where you can get on and off the national cycle route. Including this as part of the mapping party, will add a lot more data/work.

Out of Date

I've tagged this with the out-of-date template, since this is blatantly not going to happen any time soon. The ncn coverage is now quite extensive, and I don't think there's any way to make an effective mapping party out of it now. Obviously things were different a year ago before the cycle map came into use and the coverage dramatically expanded. Gravitystorm 01:24, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
