Template for the Waterway table in the Map Features page. Use the default English text or use the template arguments for your translations

==Usage==
All parameters are optional. By default, text is in English. 
English writers shall write their comments in the template itself (avoiding double edition). 
Other languages are translated in template arguments, not in the template itself.

waterway river Image:Mf_way.png For narrow rivers which will be rendered as a line. For larger rivers (defined as more than 12m across) see waterway=riverbank (Other languages). Image:Rendering-waterway-river.png
waterway riverbank Image:Mf_area.png Used for larger rivers, to define an area between the opposite riverbanks. Image:Rendering-waterway-riverbank.png
waterway canal Image:Mf_way.png An artificial open waterway used for transportation, waterpower, or irrigation.(Other languages).
waterway stream Image:Mf_way.png a naturally-forming waterway that is too thin to be classed as a river. Maybe you can just jump over it.
waterway drain Image:Mf_way.png An artificial waterway for carrying storm water or industrial discharge.
waterway dock Image:Mf_node.pngImage:Mf_area.png An 'enclosed' area of water used for loading, unloading, building or repairing ships.
waterway lock_gate Image:Mf_node.png A thing to raise/lower the water level for vessels, often found in canals.
waterway turning_point Image:Mf_node.png A place to turn the driving direction for vessels, where the boats are longer than the river/canal is wide.
waterway boatyard Image:Mf_node.png Boat yard - a place for constructing, repairing and storing vessels out of the water.
waterway weir Image:Mf_node.png Image:Mf_way.png A barrier built across a river, sometimes to divert water for industrial purposes. Water can still flow over the top.
waterway dam Image:Mf_way.png Image:Mf_area.png A wall built across a river or stream to impound the water. A dam normally does not have water flowing over the top of it.
mooring yes/private/no Image:Mf_way.png A length of bank where boats are explicitly permitted to moor.
