What I am doing in OpenStreetMap
- I am mapping Karlsruhe, Freiburg and some other places when I am travelling.
- I created the (now outdated) OSMGarminMap program to create maps for Garmin GPS units from OSM data.
- I created a stylesheet to convert OSM data for use by Google Earth. See OSM in Google Earth.
- I worked on improving Osmarender, the XSL map renderer.
- I created the Maplint checker.
- I was co-organizer of the Karlsruhe Mapping Party.
- I have done some work on improving the OSM mapping features documentation in the wiki.
- I have organized the Essen Developers Workshop.
- I gave a talk at FOSSGIS 2007 in Berlin about OpenStreetMap (PDF-Slides) (in German) and again at FOSSGIS 2008.
- I gave an interview about OSM during FOSSGIS 2007, see Moenk's podcast (in German)
- I am the author of the Ruby OSM Library
- I am co-author of a Book about OSM: User:Frederik Ramm/OSM Book
- I am organizing the German free GPS lending project
- I organized a mapping project at a high school in Germany: Mapping-Aktion_am_Elisabeth-von-Thüringen-Gymnasium
- I created the German www.openstreetmap.de website
