I live in Saxony, Germany. My user name is also Kolossos at Wikipedia, see [1].
At wikipedia I work on geo projects like this: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProjekt_Georeferenzierung/Wikipedia-World/en
So I try to help OSM and Wikipedia by a connection of both projects.
What I am doing in OpenStreetMap
- Query-to-map is a project to select special objects and show them on a map in realtime.
- OSMhack links to the above script to show all map features in a boundary box.
- english Wikipedia on OSM (all languages available)
- Wikimedia-Commons on OSM
To Do List
- making OSM running offline for my IPod touch. On my jailbreaked Ipod I have Apache and php running. With http://iphonetester.com/?url=http://osm.planetschmidt.de it should be no problem to run with some offline tiles. A solution like http://iphonetester.com/?url=http://www.grapier.com/maps.html or via SDK would be off course nicer. --Kolossos 12:14, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
