Owner of Planet OSM Let me know if you want to be added to the planet
I now have a NaviGPS GT-11, which is now broke, it was sent back for a repair, but it came back almost as bad as it went away in that it won't turn on.
Instead I have a Bluetooth SiRF Star III GPS that I use with my phone.
Places I have worked on include:
April/May 2007:
- Most of the Craigour, Little France area using the applet http://www.openstreetmap.org/index.html?lat=55.916810344373836&lon=-3.1342785722331907&zoom=15
- Parts of Sighthill
- Edinburgh City Bypass, fixes
- A1 (Around Newcraighall), minor fixes
- Maybury Road
- Fort Kinnaird
- Parts of the Union Canal
- Parts of the Water of Leith Walkway
- Parts of the NCR75 http://www.sustrans.org.uk/default.asp?sID=1099664999015 [Now done most of the way from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Requires more work with local knowledge, especially where the routes goes on to the road.
- Coast: removing tags from segments from Edinburgh to Whitley Bay on the East Coast UK. From Edinburgh to Dundee is now done too.
- Slowly using JosmLint across the Edinburgh Area to improve the quality of the data. Also wayifying various segments so that they show up on the maps. They will still need to be named. [I'm a little too lazy for that one. :-( ]
July 2007:
- Regional Route 73
- NCR75 tagged within Edinburgh
- Forth and Clyde Canal, just needs some tidying up and access points to the towpath added.
- Started organisation for the Edinburgh Mapping Party
August 2007:
- Edinburgh Mapping Party
- Wayify and turn Cork into FIXME land
