Goals

• Some of the streets in Tirana still need names.
• Draw the river, lakes and parks in Tirana using Landsat.
• Load Points of Interest (restaurants, shops, etc.)

What is done?

• Some parts of Tirana.

• The highway down the coast as far as Himara.
• Highway Tirana-Rinas Airport
• Highway up to Shkodra

People involved

• user:Alan - Visited Albania in 2006, mapped some of Tirana and the coast road down to Himara. I plan to come back someday soon, and can't wait to get some locals involved.
• user:DFae - Visited Albania in 2007. I will use the track recorded during this visit to add some few roads to the map of Albania (route from Rinas/Mother Teresa airport to Tirana, road between Tirana and Shkodra and the roads from the south to Gjirokastra and Berat.
