WikiProject Estonia
Tere tulemast! Welcome! This page contains information relating to mapping activity that is specific to Estonia.
Goals
If you have a goal that you are working towards or one that you would like to see get done (and are maybe willing to get the ball rolling) then add it to the list here, create a section where it can be coordinated and tracked, and a way of measuring progress. And then get on with it :-)
- Please help improve the Estonian Wikipedia article on OpenStreetMap
- Please help improve the introduction in Estonian on the OSM wiki, similar to the introduktion på svenska
- How can we find interested participants in Estonia?
- geocachers would maybe be interested in new activities?
- presentation in ELUG (estonian linux users group) meeting
- articles to computer magazines / tech pages of newspapers. --Kaugeltmaalt 16:48, 10 December 2006 (UTC) - Draw roads for the available tracklogs

Link[1] to list of roads can be found from the mnt.ee page, also theres a Road Registry[2] page where one can see lists[3] and also the names or numbers on a map. The map link is the red one. For example list of main (or primary or major? have to look at definitions somewhere) roads [4] --Kaugeltmaalt 16:34, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Coastlines
Coastlines are ways marked with natural=coastline. Coastlines are rendered by Osmarender in Tiles@home. All line segments must point in the same direction, with water on the right hand side of each line segment and there must be no open gaps. Coastlines for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have been imported from an external source.
