WikiProject Piste Maps
From OpenStreetMap
This is a project to map out ski lifts, other features of ski resorts, and even the route of pistes. This data is now being rendered specifically as a piste map, on the OpenPisteMap site (http://openpistemap.org). Ski lifts are also appearing on the main map.
The maps provided by lift operators are generally missing some accuracy and detail. With good raw data in OSM, there is the prospect of creating much more accurate and information rich maps that can really help skiers and riders.
Tagging
Key:aerialway is accepted onto Map Features, for tagging various types of ski lifts.
Proposed features/Piste Maps has various other tag proposals. This might allow you to chose how to tag ski resort features, however the proposals have not been settled upon.
