The '''noexit tag''' is used to indicate the end of a way or to show that the way is going further but is not mapped yet.
The {{Tag|noexit|yes}} is used to indicate the end of a way when it's ending nearly other ways but is in fact not connected.

Don't use this tag for regular streets ending nowhere. If the way is continuing but is not completed (e.g. not surveyed), use the tag {{tag|fixme|continue}} or add a {{tag|note}}.
== {{Tag|noexit|yes}} ==
The way ends in the forest or before a barrier. There is no trail or way which is going further from this point. It is also useful to tag this if there is an other way in the near of the end, so that a quality check-program can ignore this.

== {{Tag|noexit|no}} ==
Has been used to show that a way starts here or that the way is going further but is not mapped yet. A more popular tag for that is {{tag|FIXME|continue}}.

The noexit=yes is used to indicate the end of a way when it's ending nearly other ways but is in fact not connected.

Don't use this tag for regular streets ending nowhere. If the way is continuing but is not completed (e.g. not surveyed), use the tag fixme=continue or add a note=*.
