This is similar to Image:Shoho Cake.png the cake diagram by User:Morwen, for the ShoHo Mapping Party. Obviously this one has a lot of addition bright orange. These are unwayed segments, which mostly represent streets which have been 'sketched' in over the Yahoo! Aerial Imagery, but not yet surveyed.

This diagram was cobbled together by Harry Wood with some photoshop jiggery-pockery (nothing clever involving Osmarender settings I'm afraid)

  • Snapshotted an osmarender base map from the informationfreeway.org (stitched together two screenshots actually)
  • Snapshotted equivalent Maplint view
  • Aligned the two as layers in photoshop (actually I used Paint.net)
  • Selected all the orange bits (mostly unwayed segments) using a Shift-click with the magic wand
  • Threw away the rest of the Maplint layer
  • Layered Morwen's orinal cake diagram over the top (Image:Shoho Cake.png)
  • Selected all the blue bits (Morwen's cake slices) and threw away the rest

The result shows areas where we have "phase one" completion (as I like to call it).
