通用命名常規 Universal naming conventions

設施名稱須盡可能以（繁體）中英對照、先中後英的方式標籤。 The names of the features should be in the format of bilingual (Traditional Chinese and English).

街道 Streets

所有街道名稱均須以（繁體）中英對照名稱。 All street names should be bilingual, i.e. in both Traditional Chinese and English.

ref = *

ref = *只限標籤政府指定的幹綫編號。切勿加入任何自創項目。 The ref = * tag is only for tagging trunk route numbers issued by the Government. Do not add any self-invented items.

街道分類 Classifications of streets

請盡量依照以下指引分辨街道類型。 Please refer to the following guidelines to identify the best classification for roads.

• highway=motorway The following public roads with expressway-like rules:
  • Expressways designated in the Gazette of the HKSAR Government
  • Government road tunnels (Cap 368)
    • Aberdeen Tunnel
    • Kai Tak Tunnel (including East Kowloon Corridor)
    • Cross-Harbour Tunnel
    • Lion Rock Tunnel
    • Shing Mun Tunnels
    • Tseung Kwan O Tunnel
  • Discovery Bay Tunnel
  • Eastern Harbour Crossing
  • Tai Lam Tunnel
  • Tate's Cairn Tunnel
  • Tsing Ma Control Area
  • Tsing Sha Control Area
  • Western Harbour Crossing
• highway=trunk －不屬於快速公路的幹線路段。 Hong Kong Routes sections that are not designated as Expressways.
• highway=primary －不屬於指定幹線唯有幹線重要性及功能路段。 Road sections that do not belong to any routes but have the importance and characteristics of a trunk route.
• highway=secondary －重要性及功能不及highway = primary，唯連結主要地方路段。 Road sections that are less important than highway = primary, but linking major destinations.
• highway=tertiary －主要區內道路。 Major roadways within an area.
• highway=residential －普通道路。 Ordinary roadways.

• name = 域多利皇后街 Queen Victoria Street
• name:en = Queen Victoria Street
• name:zh = 域多利皇后街
• is_in:en = Central, Central and Western District, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong (optional 可省略)
• is_in:zh = 香港港島中西區中環 (optional 可省略)
• oneway = yes (因應情況而選擇是否填寫 if applicable)
