Import/Catalogue

This is a list of large-scale imports of external data (i.e. data not collected by OSM members) into the OSM database.

"Large-scale" means more than a few hundred nodes or for a larger area like a whole country. Just think about whether information about your import might be interesting to other people. If yes, it probably belongs here.

Those interested in uploading bulk data to OpenStreetMap should consider Automated_Edits/Code_of_Conduct

Only add planned imports if the planning has reached a concrete state. If you only have an idea or vague plan, add it to Potential Datasources.

Name	Name of import. If available link to your info page about this import.
Data source	Short description of the data imported. If available link to the website of the source
Area	Area your imports was for. This can be "World" or a country name or latitude, longitude bounding box or whatever describes the area best.
License	License of this data (probably Public Domain or CC) and copyright holder.
Source tag	Source tag used for this import.
Tag prefix	The prefix used for special tags in this import.
Status	State of your import: planned, in progress or done.
Start date	First date when data was imported. Leave empty if the import hasn't started yet.
End date	Last date when data was imported. If all was done on one day, same as start date. Leave empty if the import is still going on.
Contact	Names and links to people responsible for this import.
Notes	Any other important notes for the import. Keep this short. Put longer notes on extra page.
Contributor Terms	Important for the license change: When agreeing to the Contributor Terms you first have to check all imports that you have participated. If an import is not compatible, you must not accept the CT.
