Metro Atlanta Subway and Trams

Atlanta's subway system is known as MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). In addition, there are a couple of trolley lines planned in Atlanta. Only one line, so far, has funding and its construction is scheduled to start in 2012[1].
