The North and South Circular Roads (relation 3929254) is a route_master relation that consists of two toll-free circular primary routes, the North Circular Road (relation 898332) and the South Circular Road (relation 898331). The Woolwich Free Ferry (relation 392885) currently represents the missing eastern connection over the River Thames.

Conditions along the route are very diverse, ranging from simple two-way residential streets to grade-separate dual carriageways motorway-like restrictions: the abandoned Ringway 2 plan upgraded nearly all of the northern side, while it would have superseded the southern side's existing route.
