PiAware is a prebuilt operating system, based on linux, and is designed to run on a Raspberry Pi.

It's main goal is to receive ADS-B data from aircraft and then convert that onto a map.

It was designed by FlightAware, and feeds their system with ADS-B data, contributing to their global flight map.

It comes with a modified version of dump1090, with small customization's to improve the users experience.
