Why
Because trade is also performed in regulated areas outdoor, such can be a farmers market, street vending of handcraft and more.
This is a marketplace
Tagging
amenity=marketplace Possible subvalues can indicate what type of merchandise and what regulations (such as specific days)
- name=* for naming the market
- opening_hours=* for specifying days of trade
Optional:
- area=yes or building=yes
- fish=yes/no meat=yes/no vegetable=yes/no flowers=yes/no etc. can describe commodities, but is not a part of this proposal.
- highway=pedestrian
These tags are not part of the proposal, just examples of what can be combined with it.
