Definition
A valley is a geological structure found between mountains.
Usage
natural=valley Some of the boundaries of valleys are not defined clearly. The fuzziness of these boundaries could be denoted by using the fuzzy tag. For most valleys a multipolygon relation should be used, since different values of fuzziness apply to their boundaries (along the side of the mountains and perpendicular to the valley’s axis when it stops at the sea or inside another, larger valley). The fuzzy tags should remain on the individual ways in the relation.

Rendering
On classical maps the areas will not be rendered. However the general shape should be used to correctly render the name of the structure. Normally its name should follow the general axis of the valley.
