Proposal
To mark bingo halls, buildings designed for playing the game of bingo (aka Housie or Housie-Housie)
Rationale
Bingo halls are common buildings in the UK. The game's popularity has recently surged, with new halls being built.
Tagging discussion
I am proposing leisure=bingo_hall, though it could be under building=* or even amenity.
- I'd suggest using leisure=bingo, as that's a bit more generic, and it's a good idea to separate the type of activity (bingo) from its physical premises (a hall). You can then combine the tag with building=yes if it's a building, or simply leave it as a node. Frankie Roberto 13:22, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah leisure=bingo is the tag I used when inventing something for this a while back ([1]) -- Harry Wood 09:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Possible icons
I would think of this as a node or area to show the building.
I drafted an icon (SVG available):
