This proposal has been obsoleted by the proposal sport=disc_golf. In the line of Proposed features/all sports, every sport could have their own tag, no need to join all Frisbee under one tag.

Rationale

To mark the fribeee golf courses and maybe to mark if a pitch is used or especially suitable for Ultimate frisbee. Don´t know any other way to mark this except with name.

Examples

Frisbee golf course in Slottskogen, Göteborg. There are over a hundred frisbee golf courses in Sweden. It is fairly spread over the western world.

Usage

The usual sport-restraints shall be followed. "This tag describes which kind(s) of sport is/are exercised in/on some feature. Since this is a non-physical tag it should be combined with a physical tag"

Frisbee golf: Add a node tagged sport=frisbee at the first tee, at club house if any or at the place renting/selling the discs. The whole area used for frisbee golf may be mapped as an area tagged as sport=frisbee, preferably with another tag for the landuse (frisbee golf is usually in a park or wood and only in special cases at a single-use area.

Ultimate frisbee: Add a tag sport=frisbee to the node or area that is associated with the game.
