Re-Organise Racks
![]()
TV = Monitor + mounting, used with the KVM. Not actually a TV. That would be daft.
Plan of Action
- remove doors and assorted "other stuff" from the vicinity and from above the racks
- strip servers out of LH rack and move next door
- rebuild LH rack @ 70cm depth MEANWHILE rebuild rails at 70cm depth for smaug etc
- rack servers into LH rack
- remove servers from RH rack
- rebuilt RH rack @ 70cm depth MEANWHILE rebuild rails at 70cm depth for all remaining
- figure the wiggle
- rack servers into RH rack MEANWHILE attach PDUs to rear of cabs with skyhooks
- recable everything
- find somewhere to put the dead pile (Dulcy and the empty box)
- put all the "other stuff" back into the right place
- go to the pub^WAGM
ALL DONE - including getting to the pub.
