Selbständig bis ins hohe Alter
"Im Supermarkt einkaufen gehen, Geld von der Bank holen, die Familie besuchen: Auch außerhalb ihrer Wohnung wollen ältere Menschen selbstständig und unabhängig sein.
Die Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen des Verbundprojektes GENIAAL Mobil wollen die Eigenständigkeit von Senioren mit der Entwicklung altersgerechter Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien erhöhen. Zu Fuß, mit dem Taxi, im öffentlichen Nahverkehr: Unter Einbindung verschiedener Verkehrsträger soll GENIAAL Mobil die Mobilität älterer Menschen verbessern. Grundlage ist ein neu zu entwickelndes Assistenzsystem, das Senioren auf ihrem Weg zur Seite steht und sie sicher von der Haustür zum Ziel und wieder zurück leitet.
Das Verbundprojekt "SIMBA – Sicher und mobil durch begleitende Assistenzsysteme" wird gefördert vom BMBF. GENIAAL Mobil ist eine Marke des Verbundprojektes." [1]
