The Openstreetmap community agreed on the fact, that DUMP imports into the OSM database are a bad idea. When Wheelmap.org got donations like these, we asked ourselves how can we make use of those data? SOZIALHELDEN, the makers of Wheelmap.org propose a crowdsourced approach to solve this problem. They built POIchecker.com, an open source tool where humans match and deduplicate the data before importing it to the OSM. It is built with beginners in mind and enables everybody to import lots of datasets from different sources that have been given to the OSM community under a free license. The talk will present the status and seek feedback to the concept.
