State Of The Map 2008/Lightning Talks

Lightning talks are fast 5 minute long slots that let you give a quick introduction to a subject, demonstrate a project or some code or even to flame in person. You'll have access to a projector and if needed a MacBook with OpenOffice and Keynote. If you need any other AV equipment like amplifiers or speakers, please add the request below.

Saturday

  1. Hiroshi Miura would like to give a presentation of his OSM Japan activities, which just started in this March and have first mapping weekend in May.
  2. Ivansanchez will introduce Claudia, who will speak a bit about The State of Bolivia.
  3. Smsm1 would like to give a short talk about the progress in the London Mapping Marathon.
  4. Tim Waters would like to give brief introduction to new opensource map rectifier, designed for OSM. http://wrp.geothings.net
  5. Henk the State of North Korea (i'm only present on saturday :-( )

Sunday
