How to map

Create a Node node at the location of the column. Then put the advertising=column tag on it. You can add more details about it using these tags:

  • Technical details
    • support=* : generally not needed for a column, as the column is supported by itself.
    • size=* : the dimensions of the column (diameter*height), including everything.
    • height=* : the total height of the column (maybe redundant with the height parameter of 'size').
    • lit=* : is the column lit ? Generally it is not.
    • luminous=* : is the column luminous ? Generally luminous=yes.
    • animated=* : is the column animated ? Most often it is not, sometimes animated=rotating.
  • Management
    • operator=* : the company operating the column.
    • ref=* : the column reference.
    • access=* : can everybody change the content of the column ? Generally no.
    • land_property=* : who is the owner of the land under the column ? Generally land_property=public.
  • Content and visibility
    • message=* : the kind of content shown on the column. Generally message=showbiz.
    • display_surface=* : the surface dedicated to the display of message (without the frame). In m².
    • orientation=* : this attribute has no meaning for a column, which is per se 360° oriented.
    • visibility=* : how far is the column visible ? Generally visibility=street.
