A  Jersey barrier consists of heavy prefabricated blocks which create a barrier. Often made out of concrete, but sometimes plastic ones filled with sand or water.

How to map

If the Jersey barrier is used to block a road, insert a node into the way and add the tag barrier=jersey_barrier. Otherwise, draw the Jersey barrier as a way, again tagged barrier=jersey_barrier. Use material=plastic or material=concrete to express the material type.

You should also add further tags to more fully specify what kinds of vehicle or foot traffic have reasonably unhindered access using access=*.
