A building=grandstand is the building type for the main stand, usually roofed, commanding the best view for spectators at racecourses or sports grounds. It may have changing rooms or restaurants etc. under the seating area. It can be used within leisure=sports_centre, leisure=stadium or building=stadium to show the location of particular areas of seating.
How to map
Draw the outline 
of the grandstand and add building=grandstand.

Possible tagging mistakes
Please avoid using building=stand(s), as it is ambiguous and can mean anything from a bandstand, taxi stand, market stand, to stadium stands.
