A factory is an industrial-scale production site that brings together a large number of different operations and produces products largely with the help of machines, production workers and plant management.

The industrial=* key is intended to specialize the type of factory/industry, not the mere presence of a factory. man_made=works is intended for tagging the presence of a factory instead.

How to map

Draw an area area around the grounds of the factory or place a node node at the centre of the grounds.
