Use leisure=stadium to tag major sports facilities with substantial tiered seating. Using leisure=pitch to tag the actual playing surface and also building=* for the stadium building and appropriate tags for related facilities including building=entrance for entrances, and other tags for cafes, toilets etc.
Associated tags
- sport=* to define what sporting activities normally take place
- owner=* to identify the owner of the facilities.
- operator=* to identify the team, club or organisation that uses the stadium.
