Term travellers

The term travellers as employed here is broad and generic, and includes  Irish Travellers,  Romani people,  carnies,  gypsies (this term may nowadays be considered pejorative by some but is still in broad use, including in English law and by some within the groups concerned) and in other languages  gens du voyage (French), or  woonwagenbewoner (Dutch, pejoratively and colloquially also known as kampers), and other similar groups.
