This tag is used on relations which map the route of a train service.
Added to the relation should be all of the railways (individual ways or railway routes) on which the train service travels along, as well as all the nodes representing the stations where the train service stops. These nodes should be tagged with role : stop. The order of the stops in the relation should represent the order in which they are stopped at (starting from either end).
Rail infrastructure not used for passenger transportation (e g railyards) should not be part of the relation.
The operator of the train service (eg 'Eurostar' or 'Virgin Trains') can be added with the operator=* tag.
Generally, most train service routes will operate in both directions. However, single-direction services can be represented using the oneway=yes tag (this is useful if the individual tracks are mapped).
