3D

The 3D link was removed on purpose - it's a poorly-written page with no clear purpose or actions. Tmcw 21:05, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

I agree that it needs a cleanup. It does have useful content, however - such as the overview of existing programs and relevant tags/proposals for 3d rendering. So instead of removing the link, I'd rather improve the page. As far as I know there isn't any better documentation on the topic of 3d rendering that we could link to instead. --Tordanik 22:23, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
By removing the link we just bury the information. By having the link there we expose the information (however poorly it is written) and by doing that we encourage some people to fix up the 3D page. More eyes on the page = more potential editors. Also the idea of having a "table of contents"-like page for developers is to highlight the main pages for specific areas of development. And I think 3D is a pretty important area for developers. Paweł Paprota 11:14, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
