If you want some features, please report them in the trac system

So, here are the original TODOs for reference:

have a better display of current GPS status ("satellite fix" ...)
if no osm data layer was loaded before "Capture GPS Track", the zoomlevel is about 4000km - set to a reasonable zoom level (100m?)
Panel: the Speed/Course values toggles between 0.0 and the current value every second
Panel: the display of "59.2244424 km/h" isn't very "eye friendly", better display only "59 km/h" (same applies for Course)
Panel: latitude/longitude values should to have a fixed length to avoid display cluttering (append 0's at the end)
~~the plugin currently doesn't support a version number~~ A version is displayed in the plugin settings.

The shortcut "c" for Center conflicts with the "c" for "combine ways" of josm
