Open Plaques id

Can I suggest that if you tag a plaque with the Open Plaques reference that you use the machinetag that we use to tag images on Flickr, e.g. "openplaques:id=123"

Another alternative is to use an additional OSM dataset pulled from Open Plaques just when doing the special render, e.g. http://openplaques.org/places/gb/areas/birmingham.osm and don't store the points inside normal OSM at all.
