3D features

Hi, is OMS currently supporting the Simple 3D Buildings schema? --!i! This user is member of the wiki team of OSM 13:10, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi! At the moment OMS supports Simple 3D Buildings schema partially. More exactly it supports only following tags: height, building:levels, building:min_level and visualizes them through simple extrusion of a polygon. --Runge 19:35, 13 January 2013(UTC)
Thanks for the answer :) Are there any plans to get support for building:part=yes and min_height=* or different roof shapes? --!i! This user is member of the wiki team of OSM 21:26, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

neue API bei OpenMapSurfer

Hallo,

https://ask.openrouteservice.org/t/openmapsurfer-api/233

"Greetings Openmapsurfer users,

you might have noticed that the https://korona.geog.uni-heidelberg.de/tiles/roads/x=506&y=340&z=10 API is down. Unfortunately this will stay this way.

If you were using this API, you actually now have access to the same tiles through openrouteservice. Please sign up and request a token. As it is currently limited to 40 requests per second, we can increase your token quota.

To do so, please send us an email to support@openrouteservice.org with your:

- API token/key
- HTTP origin

from which the requests will be made. We will do the rest.

Thank you - your ORS team."

--Tigerfell This user is member of the wiki team of OSM (Let's talk) 11:07, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Hallo Tigerfell,

"OpenMapSurfer tiles are now available from a new URL. Normally, one would need an API key for this, but for umap you can use (Link) for now."

Distinction from OpenRouteService

We have a similar documentation located at OpenRouteService. I wonder if this is the same webpage or a different service. --Tigerfell This user is member of the wiki team of OSM (Let's talk) 13:18, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Hallo Tigerfell, hier die Erklärung/Distinction:
OpenRouteService ist einer der Angebote von HeiGIT - Heidelberg Institute for Geoinformation Technology, was wiederum ein SpinOff der University of Heidelberg GIScience (Geoinformatics) Research Group ist.
heigit.org => Über uns
