Good Idea, but what countries?

This is a good idea and is needed in OSM but which countries do you make customized icons and how do you tag it?

Active proposal?

Does this proposal have any further agenda to it? As it doesn't seem like much has been updated in quite a while, is the proposal potentially inactive for the time being? Messy Unicorn (talk) 22:01, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

As far as I am concern I still think my proposal is valid, I think is quite low priority for most of the map renderers(mapnik, mapbox, etc) but I think is a nice thing I always like to see when I see some Google Map than I think we could have. --Capiscuas (talk) 23:17, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
