A tag for this purpose would be great. May be language differences but to me (Hungarian) shop=tailor would look easier to understand, use or learn. -Kempelen 2010

- I agree that craft is more appropriate, but I very much disagree with using tailor for those kinds of shops. At least here in Germany we differentiate between
- a 'proper' tailor, who makes clothes on order starting from fabric, and
- an alteration shop, where existing clothes are altered in their size or repaired but where you cannot have clothes made from scratch.
