- Sounds good for me. This could end this long discussion. If this proposal is accepted, the different rendering of farm and farmyard has to be dicussed, because farm would cover large areas and shouldn't be to prominent on the map. BUT, every landuse=farm has to be reviewed, if it is farm or farmyard. --Torstiko 10:32, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- I really like this disambiguation! The fact that mapnik and osmarender show completely different results for landuse=farm at the moment shows that we need clarification for this. I suggest rendering landuse=farm really, really light and farmyard more like buildings (but keep the ability to map buildings individually!) -- Bwurst 10:55, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- Updated from landuse=barnyard to landuse=farmyard, as farmyard is a more familiar word for non anglophone users. -- Xylome 10:00, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
