SOTM/SOTM-US overlap

As no SOTM-US selection has been announced, will this bid proceed regardless of the selection of SOTM-US location? Pnorman (talk) 19:06, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

There is an assumption that if this is accepted for both SOTM and SOTM-US that it will be able to be organized as a joint conference. This is likely, but if that falls through, will SOTM-US need to find another New York venue? Pnorman (talk) 19:06, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
