Rendering?

Do you know how you'll render these? Was thinking of trying something similar with bits of Leeds --LeedsTracker 16:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Not yet. I am gathering some ideas, and will probably look at whether the solutions used for things such as the cycle and tube maps are viable both in terms of producing local maps and a general layer. Chriscf 19:56, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Breaking up existing ways

In trying this in Leeds for one route, I realised that lots of ways will have to be broken up, where bus routes only use part of a high street, for example. Have you had to do this in your experiment? Has this been a problem at all? --LeedsTracker 16:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

I have had to split quite a few ways, and foresee having to do so in quite a number of places. One route that concerns me loops back upon itself, however, the ways for that stretch are not currently mapped, so I have time to deal with that. Chriscf 19:56, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

OSM Relation Analyzer to check for gaps

Yoiu might want to take a look at the OSM Relation Analyzer to check for gaps in your bus line relations: http://betaplace.emaitie.de/webapps.relation-analyzer/
