Talk:Tag:motorcycle:type=*

In case you have to use several values, separate them with semicolon, i.e. chopper;scooter.
The tag is thought only for specialized shops, means usually one value.
In Semi-colon_value_separator is mentioned : avoid ';' separated values whenever possible.
(which also isn't possible when listing things like brand=KTM;BMW;Yamaha;Kawasaki;Honda)
This means to express that a shop offers everything BUT one kind of motorcycle, the actual tagging isn't the ideal solution,
but I wanted to keep it simple as I thought this case won't often appear.
An alternative would be motorcycle:type:scooter=yes (and so on for each type).
In case you think this would be better, please leave a comment. rtfm Rtfm (talk) 19:45, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
