Dash vs Underscore

This tag is one of the rare examples of using a dash to separate words rather than an underscore. To make it even more odd, drive_through=yes is 20 times more popular than drive-through=yes.

Rendering on Mapnik/Osmarender

I'm wondering, does anybody agree with me that any service road tagged with service=drive-through should be rendered the same size as service=parking_aisle? As an example, here's a way (way 74658278) that I've tagged with the service=drive-through because people pull under there to return their books. Yet, it's rendered as a larger width compared to the parking aisle's right near by. So, does a change like this need to be voted on, or should I just request this directly on the bug reporting part of the site for Mapnik/Osmarender? --Rickmastfan67 22:51, 29 August 2010 (BST)

Just request it at trac, the maintainers will (eventually) implement (or decline). There has been discussion for and against in some ticket's comments in the past, when it wasn't an obvious choise. Alv 06:38, 30 August 2010 (BST)
I did a little bit ago. :) http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/3193 --Rickmastfan67 06:42, 30 August 2010 (BST)
Thanks Mapnik! Drive-through lanes are now (November 22, 2010) rendered the same widht as parking aisles. (Waiting for Osmarender to follow suit.) --T99 18:22, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Other services

The list in the main page is rather short; how about adding amenity=car_wash, amenity=post_box and amenity=atm?

This is for highways only. I think you're looking for this: drive_through=* --Rickmastfan67 23:55, 11 October 2010 (BST)
