Correct Spelling: moneylender

This seems to be spelled wrong. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_lender

It really doesn't matter, overall tag usage is more important on OSM. And we have a large number of synonyms. Pointing the tag page to an example with a usage count of 3 versus one of 350 doesn't help people choose the tag to use. There are also shop=money-lender;shop=money_lenders;shop=money lender;shop=money-lending;shop=payday_loans. I prefer that we use the wiki to describe, not prescribe usage. Hopefully better descriptions will encourage people to reduce synonymy, simply by making it easier to find things. (And anyway there are far worse things liek shop=glaziery!Incidentally Google ngram viewer is really useful for showing usage. SK53 (talk) 18:34, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
Spelling is irrelevant we just use wrong spelling, yes. So be it. Otherwise you need to start Proposal process because there possibly software that uses wrongly spelled tag. Yes, there indeed are. We have 200 languages in the world, this is not joke. Pages should be merged back. Xxzme (talk) 00:09, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
