Bus stop relations

The wiki speaks about creating relations with type=site and site=bus_stop. Current practice seems to favour relations with type=public_transport and public_transport=stop_area, which is recommended elsewhere on the Wiki (Key:public_transport#Stop_area). I suggest we update our page to conform with existing standards.

Also, beside creating one relation for every platform, we could possibly create an additional relation containing the relations that share the same stop name. JOSM seems to complain when it is tagged with public_transport=stop_area_group → should it be public_transport=stop_area too? Bxl-forever (talk) 21:20, 3 October 2017 (UTC)

stop_area_group would seem more logical to me, but that didn't get adopted from the Oxomoa scheme apparently. So a hierarchy of stop_area relations seems like the best option.--Polyglot (talk) 23:13, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
