Target [1] is a United States discount department store and supermarket chain. It also opened stores in Canada in 2013 but announced that all Canadian stores would close in 2015 and it is expected that all Target Canada stores will close by April 12, 2015.

Target Canada
Target Canada [2], the Canadian subsidiary of the US department store Target, opened 133 stores in Canada starting in March 2013, in most cases replacing locations of the defunct chain Zellers. On January 15, 2015, Target Canada declared bankruptcy and announced that all stores will be closing soon. All Target Canada stores are currently either in liquidation or have closed already. Please note that Target stores in the USA are still open.
Use Overpass turbo ([3]) and enter shop=department_store and name=Target in Wizard to view which Target locations in your area (please zoom in so it doesn't time out). Once a Target store closes, please change it to shop=vacant (do not delete it until something else replaces it). If it gets replaced with something else, please change it to the new store.
Some Target locations are missing from OSM so please add shop=department_store, name=Target if they are still open and shop=vacant, name=Target if they are not.
